    HOWEVER please note that I (Jean-Pierre, your Maitre d'Calvados) am not always there - I often go to France to source supplies, discuss products and prices etc.  I would be delighted to meet you and discuss Calvados so if you are particularly making a journey with that in mind please ring first to check the times I will be around.  In the shop we also keep a small stock of Calvados, Armagnac, Cognac, Normandy Cider, Pineau de Charentes, Floc de Gascogne etc. as well as the full wine list.

Some background for the curious:     My name is Jean-Pierre Bruyas and I've run French Food and Wine emporia in the UK for a long time - Le Tour De France has recently celebrated 12 years at the same London location. I'm French (quel surprise) with strong connections in the Normandy region and I've been selling these products from my shops for many years. A while back a few customers started asking me to send them bottles and so began the mail order side.  In 1997 we started our web site and saw this as an opportunity to offer these products to a wider audience.  From February 2001 my web team have started using the domain www.VintageCalvados.co.uk as well and we have this new list of Vintage Calvados     So we're small specialists - I try to deal with every single order myself, so there are no great automated telephone systems to get through, no anonymous E-mail addresses, just an individual service to get you what you want at the best price.
